A recent WWE match has impressed higher ups.

On the July 3 edition of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship in a highly competitive and physical bout.

This contest has been receiving praise from fans and those backstage alike.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that WWE higher ups were very happy with the gritty nature of the Natalya vs. Rhea Ripley match.

Both women were said to have taken a real beating during the match and laid in strikes with them ending up very happy with how everything went.

Despite Ripley suffering a busted open mouth, both ladies were backstage telling others how much fun they had.

The report notes that management in attendance at Monday’s Raw were happy with the match as well.
