Rhea Ripley Pitches Match Against WWE Hall Of Famer

SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has pitched a match against a Hall of Famer, noting that she’d love to step into the ring with this popular star.

Since winning the SmackDown Women’s Title from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, Ripley has been presented as one of the most dominant competitors of WWE’s women’s division.

Speaking on the My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Ripley noted that she wants to wrestle Lita at some point.

Sharing a pitch for her dream match, Ripley said:

“I wanna get the chance to wrestle Lita. I think that would be incredible.

“I think it’d be a lot of fun and she’s just someone that always puts me over on social media and all her podcasts and stuff and I really do appreciate it and I love what she does, I love who she is so I would love to step in the ring with her.

In a previous interview Lita noted that she was interested in working with Ripley.

Lita has wrestled several matches this year, notably winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Becky Lynch in February.

After a backstage attack, Trish Stratus filled in for Lita in their scheduled tag-title bout on the April 10 edition of Raw.

Trish and Becky ultimately came up short, meaning that Lita lost her title without actually competing in the bout.
