WWE Star Reacts To Opponent’s Legitimate Injury During Match WWE

The May 19 episode of WWE Raw saw Zoey Stark suffer an injury, with Rhea Ripley now reacting to the moment.

Ripley and Stark were competing in a three-way Money in the Bank qualifying match that also featuring the returning Kairi Sane.

During the match, Stark attempted a springboard dropkick, but landed awkwardly on her leg in the ring with medical attention being called.

Stark was removed from the match, which continued with the other two competitors, leading to Ripley qualifying for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

With Michael Cole on commentary having stated that Stark may have re-injured her surgically repaired knee, Ripley has now reacted to the moment, noting the danger of wrestling, tweeting:

“Professional wrestling can be very real and dangerous…

“Tonight continued to prove that anything can happen.

“Wishing @ZoeyStarkWWE a speedy recovery! 🖤”

Stark previously suffered an ACL and meniscus tear at NXT Halloween Havoc in 2021, going on to confirm she had torn her “ACL, MCL, PCL, the whole thing.

The Money in the Bank qualifying match was Stark’s first WWE Raw appearance since January 20, 2025 where she teamed with Shayna Baszler against Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY).
