WWE has one less injury to worry about now, as one of their top Raw stars who was out with an injury returned on tonight’s Raw show.
Tonight’s show celebrated the 20th anniversary of Rey Mysterio in WWE, which saw him cut a promo before he and Dominik teamed to defeat the Judgment Day.
Rey then carried on the celebration in his locker room, where he was greeted with champagne and presents, including his original Halloween Havoc attire from 1997 against Eddie Guerrero.
During the segment, Rhea Ripley made her return from injury, attacking Rey and Dominik, before Finn Balor and Damian Priest put Rey through a table backstage.
Finn also had the line of the night when he said ‘it’s not your anniversary, it’s my birthday’ as he beat up Rey backstage.
Rhea has been out of action with a brain injury, which resulted in her match with Bianca Belair at Money In The Bank being cancelled, with Carmella replacing Rhea in the match.
