Real Reason For Rhea Ripley Surprise WWE Appearance Revealed

The real reason for former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley’s recent surprise appearance during the Holiday Tour has been revealed.

The Raw star made an unannounced appearance at the December 28 WWE SmackDown house show in Orlando, with the popular star revealed to be the surprise tag-team partner of Bianca Belair and Naomi.

Ripley, Belair and Naomi went on to defeat Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville in six-woman tag-team action, before Ripley and Belair exchanged messages online.

With Ripley wrestling in the same match on the Miami house show the following night, there was some speculation that Ripley, Belair and Naomi could soon form an alliance on WWE TV.

Fightful Select has now revealed why Ripley wrestled on these SmackDown shows, reporting that she was on this side for the Holiday Tour because she had family in Florida visiting.

Ripley is currently preparing to challenge for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship on the January 6 Netflix premiere edition of Raw.

This match will be a Last Woman Standing bout, and appears to be set to end this long-running feud.
