Ric Flair Continues To Tease In-Ring Return

Ric Flair is continuing to fuel the speculation about him potentially making a return to the ring at the ripe age of 72.

Flair tweeted “I Will Never Retire! WOOOOO!”, accompanied by a clip of a promo he cut on WWE Raw in 2007, during which he said:

“I have to announce to you… that I will NEVER retire! I will only retire when I’m dead in this ring! Over my dead body. I’ve got too much juice left. Wooo! I’m still the Nature Boy!”

He’s likely just having fun seeing the speculation, but with Ric Flair, who really knows what’s going through his mind.

This was all started after Flair was released by WWE last week and Booker T said on his podcast that he believes Flair will make an in-ring return some point soon.

Ric Flair had spoken out to Vince McMahon about the booking of his daughter Charlotte, and it was reportedly a case of “fix her booking or I’ll leave”, and it’s quite clear how that went.

It’s expected that Flair will head to AEW in some capacity, largely due to him already being good friends with Tony Khan.
