Ric Flair Calls Out John Cena Ahead Of Potential 17th WWE World Championship WWE/AEW

Ric Flair has called out John Cena following his WWE heel turn and chase for his record-breaking 17th world championship.

The main event of WrestleMania 41 was set last night, when John Cena was victorious inside the Elimination Chamber to earn a shot to capture his record-breaking 17th world championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

However, Cena’s night didn’t end there, with him laying waste to Cody in the closing segment, selling his soul to The Rock and turning heel ahead of the show.

Taking to Twitter, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who Cena is tied with on 16 world championships, responded to Cena’s upcoming match, calling him out ahead of his potential record-breaking title victory.

He wrote:

It’s Been 25 Years Since I Won My Last, 16th World Championship, According To The @WWE. Blood, Sweat, And Tears! Harley Race, Bruiser Brody, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Brett Hart, Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat. The List Is Endless Of World Class Opponents. Unparalleled! My 1984 Schedule Has Actually Been Called Impossible To Perform. 60 & 90 Minute Matches!

Let’s Get Serious! @JohnCena, I Love You And Respect You, But You Ain’t Taking Nothing From @CodyRhodes! If I Have To Fight My Way Through Security To Hit The Ring, I Will. I’ll Take The Day Off Of Blood Thinners. LFG! Let’s Do This!

Backstage news on Cena’s heel turn at last night’s show has been revealed, which you can see here.
