WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has heaped praise onto Logan Paul following his title bout at WWE Crown Jewel.
At the November 5 premium live event, Paul challenged for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
While the Tribal Chief was ultimately victorious, the wrestling world was impressed by Paul, who kept up with Reigns for almost 25 minutes in his third ever match.
On his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair made a bold claim, believing that Paul worked better than most of the signed names on the card.
Praising the influencer, Ric Flair said:
“That’s what I looked at, I mean, you and I like wrestling, period, but damn, Logan Paul put on a hell of a show with Roman, man.
“I mean, I can’t remember who said it, but he is better than 90% of the guys that work full-time.”
Flair clarified that, while ‘90%’ may be a slight exaggeration, he does genuinely believe that Paul is a better worker than many current stars.
The quote that Flair was referencing was likely one from Jim Cornette, who previously argued that Paul’s basics were better than those of 90% of the AEW roster.
Paul unfortunately suffered a serious knee injury during the match, so isn’t expected to return to a WWE or boxing ring anytime soon.
The influencer has revealed that he recently pitched for a match with a WWE legend to Chief Content Officer Triple H.
