Ric Flair Peacock Documentary: Air Date Revealed

Ric Flair Peacock Documentary: Air Date Revealed WWE

The date for the premiere of the Peacock documentary on Ric Flair has been revealed.

The documentary has been made with Tom Rinaldi and WWE.

The two-hour documentary titled “Woooo! Becoming Ric Flair,” will air on Peacock on December 26.

According to the press release, Mike Tyson, Post Malone, Hulk Hogan, Steven A. Smith and Charlotte Flair were all interviewed for the documentary.

Previously Ric Flair confirmed that the feature-length doc will address the allegations made in the Plane Ride From Hell episode of Vice TV’s Dark Side of the Ring.

The Dark Side episode originally aired in September 2021.

In the press release, Flair said:

“Many stories have been told about The Nature Boy over the past 50 years.

“I’m thrilled to have partnered with WWE and Peacock to produce the most accurate depiction of my life to date and hope audiences enjoy the ride. Woooo!”

Rod Aissa, EVP of Unscripted Content for NBCUniversal said in the release:

“Very few people have professional careers as storied as Ric Flair.

“We can’t wait to give Peacock audiences this revealing, in-depth and often raw look into the life of one of sports and wrestling’s most controversial icons.”

Recently, Flair fired a few shots at fellow Hall of Famer, Eric Bischoff.

Using a few choice words, Flair called Bischoff an “arrogant prick,” and said he will come across as such in the documentary.

Flair departed from WWE in August 2021, reportedly due to disagreements with Vince McMahon over creative for Charlotte.

WWE removed Flair from its opening video package after the Dark Side of the Ring controversy, but he’s since been added back.

On July 31, Flair teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal in a match touted as ‘Ric Flair’s Last Match’.

Flair recently said that he believes he could fight a better retirement match now. Read more on this story here.
