Ric Flair and Triple H have a special relationship and have for a long time. Now, Flair has opened up about a special gift Triple H gave him after the passing of his son Reid.
Ric Flair recently spoke with Wrestling Inc. where he revealed that Triple H gave him a special WWE Hall of Fame ring with Reid’s name engraved on it. Here is the quote:
“I can remember after we buried Reid, I put one of my Hall of Fame rings on Reid. At NXT one time, Hunter said, ‘I need to talk to you,’ and I maybe thought I had done something wrong. And he called me into his office, and he had a duplicate ring with Reid’s name engraved on it. That’s someone who cares. I spent half the time with Hunter than I did with those guys (the Horsemen).”
This was part of a larger conversation about why Ric and Arn Anderson are no longer close. You can read more about that here.
Ric Flair and Triple H spent a large amount of time together in WWE as part of Evolution. They competed together until the group dissolved in 2005.
