WWE Royal Rumble is the first step on the road to WrestleMania and a WWE Hall of Famer is either appearing or isn’t.
Previously, Ric Flair had stated that:
“I’m gonna be there.
“They didn’t say don’t tell anybody.”
He would also state that he’d been invited to the 30th Anniversary episode of WWE Raw taking place on January 23 2023.
He’s now clarified his previous comments whilst speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, saying:
“I am going to San Antonio to sign autographs separately, on the day of the Rumble.
“I was not invited to the Rumble.”
Whilst he may not have been invited to the event itself and hasn’t been confirmed to appear on-camera during the event, he’s prepared to step in, if required:
“If they want me to put my gear on, like at Last Match, that’s fine.”
Ric Flair’s last match took place at the event of the same name on July 31, 2022, although Flair has since teased the possibility of another match.
WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday January 28 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
