Ric Flair is preparing to step back between the ropes later this year.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer had stated that Flair has been training with Jay Lethal ahead of his comeback.
PWInsider confirmed this, noting that Flair is preparing for a one-off return to the ring that would tentatively happen this summer.
Flair himself has now confirmed these reports, revealing that he will step back into the ring on July 31 for Jim Crockett Promotions.
The WWE Hall of Famer tweeted:
The Rumors Are True! I’m Going To Walk That Aisle, Style And Profile, One Last Time! July 31st! Nashville, Tennessee! Jim Crockett Promotions!
I Will Prove Once Again, That To Be The Man, You’ve Got To Beat The Man!
Now We Go To School!

The working plan was for Flair to work a multi-man match, per PWInsider.
The 73 year-old last worked a full match in 2011, wrestling Sting in TNA.
Flair recently shared a clip from an in-ring training session with Lethal, which you can watch right here.
