Ric Flair Recalls Recent Talk With Vince McMahon WWE

Ric Flair has revealed that he recently spoke with Vince McMahon, ahead of his last match.

On July 31, Flair will team with Andrade El Idolo to face off against Jay Lethal and WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Jeff Jarrett.

In the lead-up to the event, Flair’s signature ‘Wooo’ returned to WWE’s signature which opens every show.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Flair confirmed that he recently visited Vince McMahon in Tampa, Florida, noting:

“I went and saw Vince yesterday to personally thank him.

“Everything Vince McMahon has ever said to me my entire life has come true, he said, ‘I’m gonna put you back on,’ and he did.”

Flair was removed from the signature after allegations against him resurfaced on an episode of the Dark Side of the Ring focusing on the ‘Plane Ride From Hell’.

Following WWE adding him back into the opening sequence, Flair tweeted:

The Most Hurtful Moment In My ENTIRE Career Was Losing My Spot. Thank You So Much For Giving Me Back My Dignity & My Life!
