Ricky Saints’ opponent for his first WrestleMania weekend as part of WWE has been confirmed on tonight’s NXT.
On April 1, Ricky Saints defeated Shawn Spears in the main event of NXT to win the North American Championship, making him the fastest NXT debutant to win a title.
Last week, it was announced that Saints will defend the title at WWE Stand & Deliver, which takes place this coming Saturday at 10am local time in Las Vegas, the same day as WrestleMania night 1.
Saints’ opponent was announced as being the winner of a four-way match between Ethan Page, Lexis King, Eddy Thorpe and Wes Lee.
That four-way took place tonight, with Ethan Page picking up the win.
Just as it looked like Lexis King had the match won, Page struck with the Twisted Grin – his version of a Twist of Fate – to score the victory.
Other matches at Stand & Deliver include Oba Femi vs Je’Von Evans vs Trick Williams for Femi’s NXT Championship, and Stephanie Vaquer vs Jordynne Grace vs Giulia vs Jaida Parker for the NXT Women’s Championship.
