Ricky Starks Wants AEW World Championship Shot

Ricky Starks is an ‘Absolute’ star in AEW but he according to him, he won’t be satisfied until he gets a top title shot!

Ricky Starks recently commented on what he hopes to achieve after getting through former friend turned foe, Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW All Out.

Participating in an AMA with Bleacher Report, Starks’ answer may surprise some people!

Sharing what he sees for himself next, after facing Powerhouse Hobbs, Starks said:

“I definitely think going for the AEW World Title and going for the TNT Title as well. It’s been a long time coming with me and things have been brewing.

“I don’t think of myself as an up-and-coming star. I hate that word because I’m a current star. It’s just a matter of putting the pen to paper and really just proving my worth, which I’ve been doing since 2020.”

Elsewhere in the AMA, he discussed what dream opponents he would face in a WWE x AEW crossover as well as where he hopes to be a year from now.

AEW All Out is set to occur on September 4, 2022 and will be available on pay-per-view and in select theaters.
