The latest update has emerged on the status of Ricky Starks amid his continued absence from AEW programming.
Starks has been off AEW TV since April, and has consistently implied he doesn’t know of a particular reason for that being the case.
A couple of weeks ago, he made headlines by popping up at an indie show, and a new announcement has revealed he has another indie booking on his calendar.
House Of Glory Wrestling has announced that Starks will make his debut for the promotion on January 17.
The show – which is being billed as ‘HOG Will Be Absolute’ – is set to take place live in Chicago and will be available to stream on Triller (formerly known as Fite).
Starks’ opponent for his HOG debut has not been announced as of yet.
When he’s been asked about Starks’ status over the past few months, AEW CEO Tony Khan has repeatedly praised and spoken highly of Starks.
Ricky Starks confirmed a few weeks ago that he was still under contract to AEW despite his absence from the product.
