Ricky Starks’ next planned WWE appearance may have been revealed following his surprise debut on Tuesday’s NXT (February 11).
Moments prior to the main event on this week’s NXT, Ricky Starks appeared in the crowd inside the Performance Center just one day after his AEW exit was made official.
While uncertainty remains regarding what name Starks will compete under in WWE, we now have a big clue as to when he may show up on TV next.
As announced by Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling on Twitter, Starks has been pulled from a planned match with Aaron Solo at their event in Buford, GA this coming Saturday (February 15) due to “circumstances beyond their control”.
The announcement reads:
Important announcement
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ricky Starks will not be in attendance on Saturday, February 15th at the Tannery Row Ale House.
However, you can still expect the same incredible evening of Georgia’s premier star studded, action packed, family friendly, independent professional wrestling that TCW Live has to offer!
We will see you at the matches!
Interestingly Saturday, February 15 is also the date of WWE NXT Vengeance Day in Washington, DC, leading many fans to speculate that WWE pulled Starks so he could appear at the show.
As of now there is no official confirmation that is the case, but we will provide further updates when more information becomes available.
