Ricky Starks may have not yet won at AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest but that isn’t stopping him from lining up his first challengers.
With the Rochester, New York crowd hot for FTR, Dax Harwood hopped on Twitter to thank them for the support, meanwhile Ricky Starks also had something to say about the fiery segment.
While Starks and Hobbs had laid into Swerve in our Glory earlier in the promo, they were all met by the Young Bucks who challenged the lot to a three-way tag team match for the Championships at AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest.
It was then that the crowd erupted into “FTR!” chants that could not be dissuaded.
Now Ricky Starks has engaged in a little banter online with FTR’s Dax Harwood around the upcoming matchup, first writing: “You want more evidence?! #AEWDynamite” to which Dax replied, “Yes, please,” again utilizing the graphic of the AEW Tag Team Rankings which show FTR as the #1 contenders.
That brought Starks back out to say:
“We are honest men. Once we win you got first shot. On my life.”
To which everyone’s favorite Uncle Dax replied the simple but effective in a variety of circumstances reply of “LFG.”
LFG indeed gentlemen.
Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley faced Brody King for the Interim AEW World Championship and a new tag-team debuts in ThunderStorm (Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm) picking up their first win against Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir and Wardlow winning the TNT Championship.
LFG.
