The WWE debut match of former AEW star Ricky Starks (Ricky Saints) has been confirmed for next week’s NXT show.
Ricky Starks made his debut on last week’s WWE NXT show, just days after he was released from his AEW contract..
Starks’ name was never mentioned on either television or social media, and his new WWE name was confirmed on tonight’s show.
Starks’ contract signing segment was interrupted by Ethan Page, Je’von Evans and Wes Lee, with Starks laying out Lee before signing his contract under his new WWE name; Ricky Saints.
Later in the night, Saints’ debut match was announced by NXT General Manager Ava, with Ricky Saints set to team up with Je’von Evans to face Ethan Page and Wes Lee on next week’s NXT show in Cincinatti.
The show will also feature a TNA X-Division Championship match, when Moose, who made his first appearance for WWE on tonight’s NXT show, defends the title against Lexis King.
The Hardy Boyz will also be making their WWE return on next week’s NXT show, teaming up against Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of the No Quarter Catch Crew.
