Ricky Starks’ WWE name has now been officially confirmed following his contract signing on tonight’s NXT show.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Ricky Starks made his debut on last week’s episode of WWE NXT, where he said that the Revolution will once again be televised.
What was interesting was that Starks was never named on television, nor had his name ever been mentioned on social media, leading to speculation about a potential name change in the company.
Starks took part in his official contract signing on tonight’s NXT show, where he was interrupted by both Ethan Page and Wes Lee, with a match between he and Wes being made official for next week’s NXT show.
After laying out Wes Lee, Starks officially signed his NXT superstar contract, but not as ‘Ricky Starks’, with him set to go by a new name; Ricky Saints.
It was later confirmed that his NXT in-ring debut will take place on next week’s episode on Cincinnati, as he teams with Je’Von Evans against the team of Ethan Page ad Wes Lee.
Tonight’s show also saw a top TNA star make their first appearance for NXT, which you can see here.
