WWE NXT GM Ava has reacted to comparisons between new signee Ricky Starks and her father, The Rock, following Starks’ debut for the company.

Comparisons between The Rock and Ricky Starks are hardly new, with many AEW fans noting that he reminded them of a younger Dwayne Johnson during his time with that company.

This idea followed Starks to WWE, with the former AEW star making his surprise debut on the February 11 edition of NXT.

In the comments section of an Instagram post about Ricky Starks’ debut, WWE signee Tatyanna Dumas noted that she would believe that Starks was a Johnson, commenting:

idk if it’s me, but! If you told me “He’s The Rock’s Son.” – I’d believe it.

Ava – The Rock’s real daughter – replied to this comment with a single eyebrow-raising emoji:
