WWE Hall of Famer Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat has been announced for the August 29 NWA TV taping.
NWA confirmed Steamboat’s return to the promotion in an official statement. The wrestling legend will be participating in a Meet & Greet at the taping.

Known for being one of the most genuine people in wrestling both inside and outside the ring, Ricky Steamboat’s athleticism won over crowds while also winning him the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship from Ric Flair in 1989. Steamboat last wrestled for the promotion in 1989, facing Lex Luger at The Great American Bash.
Earlier this year, Steamboat was featured on MLW television following his appearance during February’s ‘SuperFight’ tapings.
The wrestling legend recently revealed that he declined an offer to wrestle on the Ric Flair’s Last Match card on July 31.
