Ricochet has a name in mind to join him for the November 6 episode of AEW Dynamite as he takes on Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita.
With Ricochet having his eyes on Takeshita’s AEW International Championship, this will be the first time that both men have faced each other on Dynamite.
Their previous encounter was in a three-way match that saw Takeshita win the AEW International Championship from Will Ospreay on October 12’s WrestleDream.
Ahead of tonight’s match, Ricochet posted a tease to Twitter in a message aimed at the Don Callis Family members, saying:
“I’m gonna make this short and sweet because I feel like I’ve already said everything that I need to say about Takeshita and honestly the Don Callis Family as a whole. But Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher, I saw your little video, I saw your little promo, calling me out to a tag team match, saying that I can pick anybody of my choosing.
“Okay, that’s where you messed up. I already have somebody in mind, and I don’t think you’re gonna like it that much.
“You’re honestly lucky that I’m here in Japan because that bought you a couple days for this ass-whooping you’re about to receive.
“So yes, I will be there on Wednesday with my tag team partner, ready to beat y’all ass. Remember, just like Don Callis, payback is a bitch.”
Ricochet was in Japan for his NJPW return where he came face-to-face with Zack Sabre Jr at Power Struggle.
The match between the pair has been confirmed for NJPW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025.
