WWE Raw star Ricochet is among the many, many people who were puzzled by the finish to last night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The show ended with ‘Demon’ Finn Balor being resurrected by his entrance music (after flopping around like a fish), but when he attempted a Coup de Grace, the top rope broke and he fell into the ring, which enabled Roman Reigns to hit a spear and beat him.
Many people thought this was rather silly, and the WWE Creative Humor Twitter account was one of those, tweeting: “Who knew the rope was going to collapse under the weight of ridiculous booking?”, and Ricochet actually liked that tweet.
Obviously let’s not read too much into people liking tweets, but it just goes to show that even the talent is often baffled by the things WWE pulls off.
Ricochet hasn’t been on Raw for over a month following a loss to Karrion Kross on August 23, with his most recent match being another loss to Kross last Monday for Main Event.
