WWE Raw star (Matt) Riddle sent a message to Seth Rollins after Rollins qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match last night.
The two men have had issues stemming from a comment Riddle’s wife made about Rollins’ now-wife Becky Lynch, although Riddle recently said they somewhat smoothed things over at Survivor Series last year but aren’t exactly friends.
After Rollins beat Cesaro to qualify for Money in the Bank, which Riddle is also a part of, Riddle very simply tweeted: “Hey bro”.
They were both in the same elimination match at Survivor Series last year, but Rollins was eliminated before even having any interaction with Riddle during the match.
At this past January’s Royal Rumble, Rollins did give Riddle a curb stomp, which Riddle has said he needs to “repay” in a match in the future, and suggested the ferocity of the stomp indicated that they’re indeed not friends.
With a crowd being in attendance, you have to think that Rollins and Riddle would get a pretty big reaction if they do have a face-off and altercation at the pay-per-view.
Seth Rollins and Riddle will be joined by Big E, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, John Morrison, Ricochet and Drew McIntyre in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this year.
