Riddle Sends Message To WALTER During NXT

In recent weeks, WWE has been having a number of main roster stars live tweeting during the NXT show that week. Previous names have included Liv Morgan and Damian Priest.

On this week’s (July 20) show, it was Riddle’s turn to do the live tweeting. Riddle gave his thoughts on the NXT show in a way that only Riddle can, including callbacks to his song about Bobby Fish frying fish, and getting excited over seeing his old tag team partner ‘Stallion Pete (Dunne)’.

However, most notably, an advert for NXT UK aired during the show, advertising the current NXT UK Champion WALTER and his now-delayed championship defence against Ilja Dragunov.

The sighting of WALTER in this short ad caught the attention of Riddle, who made it abundantly clear that he wants a match with the Imperium man inside a WWE ring. Riddle simply stated:

WALTER’s planned NXT United Kingdom Championship defence against Ilja Dragunov was delayed after the champion suffered an injury.

Riddle is currently tag teaming with his new ‘best bro’ Randy Orton on Raw. Riddle recently told the story about the moment he new Orton had become a fan of his.
