Riddle Takes Another Shot At The Undertaker

Riddle Takes Another Shot At The Undertaker

The Undertaker made some very well publicised comments about current wrestling stars on an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, and a number of wrestlers, including Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre, weren’t best pleased.

Unsurprisingly, someone else who wasn’t happy with what the Undertaker had to say was new United States Champion Riddle, who took a subtle jab at ‘Taker during an interview with the Metro.

Riddle compared WWE’s backstage atmosphere to that of a high school, and said people aren’t up front about their issues with each other.

“It’s always like, ‘pst pst’. I’m like, why are we hearing stuff like this? ‘Say something, do something! I’m not saying you have to go The Undertaker route and fight each other and be men about it! I’m saying let’s talk about it. But hey, it is what it is!’”

“‘Some of the legends come in and they find their own locker room, they stay away from the boys. But then there’s legends like Gillberg, Edge, Christian – legends like that, they came in, they sat with all the boys in the main locker room. We jib-jabbed, flapped gums, talked shop and had fun.”

Riddle has made quite the habit of calling out WWE legends, with both Brock Lesnar and Goldberg finding themselves in his firing line.

Given that WWE has just made him US Champion, they clearly like him, but we’ll see whether this constant habit of making comments like this have any affect on his future career.
