Rikishi Pitches Big WWE Creative Plans For Naomi

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has shared his hopes for Naomi to be involved in a premium live event match with a top star.

Naomi won the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on June 7, giving her a shot at a WWE championship of her choice.

With this opportunity at her disposal, Rikishi has a different vision for his daughter-in-law, one featuring a highly decorated women’s champion.

Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi revealed his hopes that Naomi could test herself against Charlotte Flair, saying:

“For me, just to be able to see her test her skills in the squared circle, I would really like to see her go up against Charlotte Flair.

“It’s kind of dynasty vs dynasty. They’re both athletic, they’re both in tip-top good shape.”

As for when the hypothetical match could happen, Rikishi visualized it as being built to a major WWE PLE, stating:

“I think if it’s built the right way, this could be a featured type of match for whatever big pay-per-view.”

Rikishi has previously been critical of the way that Jey Uso has been booked, going so far as to call for the WWE writers involved to be fired.

He has since addressed his previous comments, apologizing to the fans and noting that he was reacting as a father.
