Rikishi Pitches Bloodline WWE WrestleMania 41 Match WWE

Rikishi has pitched a match between two Bloodline family members at WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, NV.

Following Friday Night SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, we now have five matches official for the WrestleMania 41 card – with Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens being made official for the weekend of April 19-20.

While Jey Uso is set to challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at the event and Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins seems set to be announced, the status of Bloodline family member’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa remains up in the air.

Despite dissension between Sikoa and Fatu building on TV, Fatu’s pursuit of LA Knight’s United States Championship has made it slightly more unclear as to whether WWE are heading in that direction

Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi admitted he’d “love” to see his son and nephew square off in Las Vegas.

Whilst discussing The Bloodline’s presence on WWE TV being lesser than it has in the past, Rikishi said:

“In a way, they don’t mention it that much, but as long as The Rock and you see Roman Reigns still in there, you see Solo, you see Jey, Jimmy, Trinity, Bloodline’s still there.

“I don’t think it’ll ever go away, but if in case there is some type of storyline that just happens to come up, I would love to, not even writing this storyline, but I would love to see Solo [Sikoa] go up against Jacob Fatu at ‘Mania. It’s something about those two and the drama that they’re going through, with what we’ve been seeing lately, I really feel that could be…

“I’m always thinking about the fans. What would the fans want to see? Do the fans want to see Jacob Fatu versus Braun Strowman? Or would we rather see Jacob Fatu versus Solo Sikoa? So for me, speaking like a fan, I prefer to probably see family versus family go at it.”

In early February it was reported that WWE were planning to book Fatu vs. Sikoa at WrestleMania 41, however, its unclear whether this is still the direction they’re going in.
