WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has praised ROH Six Man Tag Team Champion Toa Liona, noting that he’s proud of the ROH star.
Rikishi and Toa Liona had a wholesome interaction on Twitter, with both stars sharing love for the other.
The current ROH star was notably trained by Rikishi prior to his run with the Tony Khan company.
Rikishi took to Twitter to share a post about sacrifice in wrestling, noting that wrestlers who learn to overcome setbacks are destined for longevity in the wrestling business.
Toa Liona shared this post, writing:
Grateful for your teachings. Wouldn’t be where I am with out it 🙏🏽🤙🏽 @TheREALRIKISHI
Rikishi retweeted this tweet, and replied to it, noting:
Alofa atu Uso (translation: ‘love you brother’) #ProudOfYou
Liona currently holds the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship, alongside Brian Cage and Kaun of The Embassy.
The trio won the gold at ROH Final Battle 2022 in December, and most recently defended the title during the June 4 ROH taping.
Rikishi recently commented on the implosion of the Bloodline, which you can read more about right here.
