Tonight’s (July 6) edition of AEW Dynamite, a duo of major matches announced for the upcoming Ring of Honor pay-per-view, Death Before Dishonor.
In a backstage segment, FTR challenged The Briscoes to a rematch at the pay-per-view event scheduled for July 23, 2022.
The two teams last faced off at Ring of Honor’s April pay-per-view, Supercard of Honor, where FTR defeated The Briscoes to win the ROH Tag Team titles.
The match was not officially confirmed by Tony Khan or ROH at time of writing.
Two championships matches that were made official on AEW Dynamite for ROH’s Death Before Dishonor however involve two major championships.
Samoa Joe is set to defend the ROH World Television title against Jay Lethal.
Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta will also be in action, defending his ROH Pure title against Jericho Appreciation Society member, Daniel Garcia in a continuation of their blood feud in All Elite Wrestling.
Elsewhere on Dynamite, Jon Moxley defended the Interim AEW World Championship, ThunderStorm debuted, a betrayal within a popular faction seems to spell the end of their fan favorite gimmick and TNT just became Wardlow’s World.
