‘RIP NXT’ & ‘Triple H’ Trending On Twitter

Fans have taken to Twitter to express their outrage following reports that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will produce NXT moving forward.

“Triple H” and “#RIPNXT” have been trending since it was reported that NXT will soon be a “McMahon and Prichard production“.

One fan compared Triple H’s product with McMahon’s main roster, tweeting:

“Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard are going to produce #WWENXT. Triple H built NXT  from the ground up, and gave fans an alternative from Raw or SmackDown – and made it feel like more of a professional wrestling show, rather than “sports entertainment”. I feel bad for HHH.”

Many fans noted that they were taking a moment to of silence to pay respects to the brand, with one fan posting:

“Let me pour out of for my fellow NXT homies.#RIPNXT”

Several Twitter users have been posting photos of their favourite NXT moments, with one posting:

“Rip Nxt probably the best show of this last decade”

Denise Salcedo recalled WALTER vs Ilja Dragunov from NXT TakeOver 36. Suggesting that the match might have been the brand’s swan song, Salcedo tweeted:

It has been revealed that Bruce Prichard will visit the WWE Performance Center this weekend, however not all performers are mandated to be there for the visit.
