It has sadly emerged that former MCW World Champion ‘The Bruiser’ RJ Meyer after unfortunately losing a battle with Leukaemia.
His passing has been confirmed by his family and MCW posted the following statement on social media:
With a heavy heart the MCW family sends its condolences to the family and friends of RJ Meyer, better known as The Bruiser. The phrase “once in a lifetime” is thrown around a lot. In the case of The Bruiser, there will only be one. Ever. #BruiserStrong Forever
He had first announced his Leukaemia diagnosis in March 2019. He was also a trainer at MCW where he helped train the likes of Velveteen Dream and Lio Rush.
