WWE Hall of Famer “Road Dogg” Brian James was released from hospital on March 25 after suffering a reported heart attack, and as such hadn’t been able to fulfil his duties as a backstage producer in NXT.
Thankfully, he has made a great recovery, and PWInsider is now reporting that Road Dogg was at this week’s NXT taping for the first time since being taken to hospital.
He posted on Facebook after being discharged from hospital, saying he still had plenty of work to do regarding his health, so hopefully returning to work is a big step in the right direction.
Triple H noted that James worked NXT’s Stand and Deliver show from home as a way of easing him back into the fold.
Everyone at WrestleTalk wishes Road Dogg the best in his recovery.
