Former WWE Tag Team Champion Rob Conway may be taking on a backstage role after working behind the scenes at NXT 2.0.
PWInsider reports that former WWE star Rob Conway was working backstage as a producer at last night’s NXT 2.0 taping.
Conway worked as a guest coach and trainer at the Performance Center last week, so it looks like that went well enough to get him a role this week.
Conway worked as an in-ring performer for WWE off-and-on from 2000-2007.
There was no word on whether Rob Conway was hired by the company as a producer or if he is going through a tryout period for the role.
