Rob Van Dam has reacted to Seth Rollins’ tribute to the Hall of Famer at the Extreme Rules premium live event.
At the October 8 event, Rollins was defeated by Riddle in a Fight Pit bout, with special guest referee Daniel Cormier calling for Riddle’s submission victory.
Ahead of the bout, Rollins made his entrance in gear inspired by former ECW World Champion. Rollins also did RVD’s signature taunt, while he was referred to on commentary as the ‘Whole Freakin’ Show’.
Rollins’ antics caught the attention of Rob Van Dam, who shared tweet of Rollins’ entrance gear, captioning his post with the emoji:

There has been some speculation about Rob Van Dam making a WWE return to face Rollins. Poking fun at a Twitter user who stated that the Hall of Famer likely has another match in him, Van Dam tweeted:
“Lol. I better cancel my future bookings”
Responding to a fan asking if he’ll wrestle again, Van Dam replied:
This month?
Yeah, the 30th in Toronto. Why?
Rob Van Dam has been active on the independent scene this year, most recently wrestling at 1PW’s return show ‘A New Twist Of Fate’ earlier this month. The Whole F’N Show made his debut for Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH in the summer.
Rob Van Dam last wrestled for WWE in 2014, notably against Rollins on an episode of Main Event. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2021.
