WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has named an NXT star he’d be open to managing moving forward.
Following his previous appearances with WWE, Van Dam has noted that he’d be on board to mentor a talent who he has appeared alongside.
Speaking with B4 The Bell, RVD named former NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan as someone he’d be willing to take under his wing.
Recalling their backstage segment together on the November 6 NXT show at the 2300 arena, Rob Van Dam said:
“I’m just going to throw this out there because it popped into my head, Kelani Jordan. I’m on board. We did a really cool little backstage vignette in November or December when I was at NXT for a second.
“We both did the splits across the chairs, facing each other. So that’s my answer, I’ll be her manager.”
Kelani Jordan previously noted that Rob Van Dam inspired a lot of her work.
Jordan was the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion, winning the gold in a six-woman ladder match at Battleground 2024, and dropping it to Fallon Henley 140 days later.
Rob Van Dam recently shared an update on his in-ring future, which you can read more about right here.
