Hall of Famer Addresses WWE Royal Rumble Return Rumors WWE

Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has commented on speculation that he will make his WWE return at the Royal Rumble premium live event.

Following reports that WWE is happy about surprises planned for the January 28 event, many have shared their wild predictions for potential Royal Rumble match debuts and returns.

With Rob Van Dam still active on the independent scene outside of WWE, there have been rumors that the star could make a WWE comeback this weekend.

Speaking with Steve Fall on The Ten Count, RVD noted that he doesn’t have any plans to appear at this year’s show, noting:

“It’s happened before, you know when I left way back in 2006 or seven, I guess it was six. But yeah, hey, that’d be cool. I got no plans to share with you. All I can say is I’m feeling awesome.

Rob Van Dam went on to discuss his previous attitude while with the company.

Rob Van Dam last wrestled for WWE in 2014, defeating Seth Rollins via countout on an episode of Main Event.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2021.
