In under 2 weeks, ROH fans will be able to watch 3 hours of Ring of Honor content for free, including the promotion’s 500th episode.
On April 15, ROH will broadcast a milestone episode of their weekly show. Not only will the 500th episode be aired for free, ROH also plan to air 2 additional hours of classic matches.
ROHWrestling.com has confirmed that all 3 hours of content will air for free on ROH Best On The Planet. From 6pm to 8pm ET, fans will be treated to an array of ROH classic matches, before the 500th episode airs at 8pm ET.
Some iconic matches have been chosen for the 2-hour special, including The Young Bucks vs. reDRagon vs. The Kingdom, and Jay Briscoe vs. Matt Hardy. Matches involving AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Cody Rhodes have also been announced.
The 500th ROH episode will feature a ROH Pure Championship match between Jonathan Gresham and Jay Lethal. The main event for this show will be announced later today.
ROH have also recently announced a huge women’s wrestling tournament for the summer. Looking to crown a new ROH Women’s Champion, Maria Kanellis-Bennett welcomed wrestlers from “all over” to take part.
