ROH and NJPW G1 Supercard on April 6 has officially sold out after tickets went on sale at 10am today. 60% had already been allocated for HonorClub members on Wednesday as revealed by ROH COO Joe Koff.

Tickets originally ranged from $30-$300, with those already on the secondary market going for $90-$1000 for the first non-WWE wrestling event at Madison Square Garden. This is a remarkable achievement, proving that independant professional wrestling is now as popular as that in the mainstream. Well, with everyone except Vince McMahon that is.
For years, wrestling at the venue was dominated by Vince, and anyone who attempted to put a halt to this had little success.
Now however, the landscape is changing.
WWE is experiencing serious competition for the first time in over two decades, and given the popularity of both ROH and NJPW, you would expect both companies to make this show a memorable one.
WrestleTalk would like to know your views on the sell-out, if Vince was right in trying to stop the event taking place, and if NJPW can really trump WWE as the world’s biggest promotion. You can contact us on Twitter and Discord today.
