This week’s edition of AEW Dark has barely had time to land on YouTube and there is already a huge reason to check out next week’s!
Announced in a segment on the edition of AEW Dark that dropped today (June 21) featured a challenge by Tony Nese to the ROH Pure Champion and Blackpool Combat Club member, Wheeler Yuta.
Wheeler Yuta recently returned to AEW Dynamite action after being eliminated in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 29.
AEW Dark featured a plethora of matches that seem as though they could have easily made it to television including Serena Deeb tag-teaming with Mercedes Martinez to take Yaide & Anna Diaz.
While the tentative pair picked up the win, it was clear the Deeb had her eyes on Martinez’s ROH Women’s World Championship gold!
AEW Dark airs on Tuesdays at 4 pm pacific, 7 pm eastern on All Elite Wrestling’s official YouTube channel.
#ROH Pure Champion @wheeleryuta seems unfazed by @TonyNese's challenge and gives him a shot at the #ROH Pure Title next week on #AEWDark!
