Yet Another New Champion Crowned At ROH Final Battle ROH

Yet another title change has taken place at ROH Final Battle, following the Women’s Title and Six-Man tag gold changing hands.

At ROH Final Battle, Daniel Garcia defended his Pure Championship against Wheeler Yuta in a Pure Rules match.

The bout started with Garcia and Yuta trading forearms, before both stars were cautioned for using closed fists.

Garcia utilised the ropes to exhaust two of Yuta’s rope breaks before wearing him down in the ring.

After seven minutes of action, Garcia forced Yuta to use his final rope break, leaving Yuta with none left, while Garcia had all three remaining.

Yuta fought his way back into the match, trading holds with the champion.

The Blackpool Combat Club member fought his way out of a sharpshooter before trapping Garcia in a crossface, paying homage to Bryan Danielson.

After dropping Garcia with a piledriver, Yuta relentlessly hit Garcia with elbows until he was awarded the knockout victory.

After the bout, Yuta offered Garcia a handshake, but Garcia kicked Yuta’s hand away, and threw him the title belt.
