Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Madison Rayne has been granted her release from Ring of Honor. The American native was reportedly unhappy with her creative direction and as such, requested her release, which was granted. The split was said to be amicable from both parties however.

Rayne had only joined the company in September 2018 on a one-year deal, where she hoped to win the Women of Honor title in her tenure. Unfortunately that never came to fruition as although she competed for the championship, she never won it.
Rayne is a former five time Impact Knockouts Champion, and she competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, losing in the first round. She’ll be looking to take her talents elsewhere, and we at WrestleTalk wish her well in whatever path she chooses to take.
