Deonna Purrazzo defeated Rok-C to win the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship on this week’s (January 13) episode of IMPACT.
Purrazzo forced Rok-C to submit with the Venus de Milo, winning the Title vs Title match. The Virtuosa’s AAA Reina De Reinas Championship was also on the line in the bout.
Following the bout, Purrazzo was confronted by Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, Vincent, and PCO, who all previously invaded Hard To Kill. The group attacked Matthew Rehwoldt, and eventually Willie Mack and Rich Swann, when they came out to make the save.
One name from this group has now reportedly signed with IMPACT Wrestling. The promotion shared a video of the closing moments of the show on Twitter:

This title win marks Purrazzo’s first reign with the ROH Women’s Championship, and the first time a ROH title has changed hands during the promotion’s hiatus. ROH will return with Supercard of Honor in April.
