ROH #1 Contender Tournament Competitors Revealed

ROH has released the first 4 wrestlers for the #1 Contender’s Tournament.  It was announced today Dalton Castle, Jay Lethal, Kenny King and Marty Scurll will be participating in the tournament.  The tournament is an 8-man, single elimination tournament.  The other 4 wrestlers will be announced tomorrow.

ROH will announce the official bracket on Monday, September 2.  The winner will get a shot at the ROH World Championship at Final Battle.  Final Battle is set for the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, December 13.

Currently, Matt Taven is the ROH world Champion.  The first round matches are scheduled for after the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.  As a result of ROH streaming their television tapings on Honor Club, viewers can watch them live on their network or when they air on TV.  However, the semifinals and finals will be held at Glory By Honor on October 12.
