WWE Hall Of Famer Comments On Possible Role In Triple H’s Creative Team WWE

Now that Triple H is in charge of creative at WWE, will there be even more familiar faces joining him behind the scenes?

According to one WWE Hall of Famer, even the proximity to power doesn’t make the role all that attractive however there is a slot within the organization he has his eye on.

Ahead of his appearance to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of DX on the season premiere of WWE Raw, Sean Waltman (known as X-Pac during the height of his fame) has commented on whether or not he would want a role in Triple H’s creative team.

Appearing on AdFreeShows, Waltman had a concise answer but also a suggestion as to a role he may be a great fit for, saying about whether he wanted a role in creative:

“No.

“I’d like to just come in once in a while, like we’re doing on October 10 at Barclays, do little appearances like that. I go and do these Comic Cons and different appearances several times a month and it’s very stress free and I like how my life is right now.

“I don’t see myself getting on a plane — I get on planes all the time — but to go and have to deal with…sometimes it can get pretty combative and being backstage and clash of opinions.

“I just assume to stay slightly removed from all of that. If they really needed me, I just don’t think they really need me. Not that I don’t have anything to offer. When I was younger, I use to have a vision, but I’m a 50-year-old man. I listen to the young guys and girls.

“I wouldn’t mind doing something that didn’t require a huge commitment. You know what I would do? Those panels before the pay-per-views, I would be good at that. Just throwing that out there”

Still yet to be determined is whether or not Billy Gunn, a notable current AEW star, will be making the trek to WWE Raw to appear.

The October 10 edition of WWE Raw has been announced by the company as the season premiere of the long running Monday night staple.
