Roman Reigns Addresses Future At WWE Live Event WWE

Roman Reigns cut a heartfelt promo during Sunday’s (May 22) WWE live event, amidst uncertainty surrounding his WWE future.

The Tribal Chief has reportedly signed a new deal with the company that will see him working less dates for the company. As of writing, Reigns isn’t advertised for any house shows in June, July and August, and is also expected to miss WWE Hell in a Cell on June 5.

During Sunday’s house show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Reigns told a Drew McIntyre fan that he sucked, before confirming to the crowd in attendance that he could be on his last live event run with WWE.

Reigns finished off by telling his fans:

“I appreciate all of y’all. I know I had the internet talking last week or the week before that, but I honestly don’t know if I’m going to be doing too many more live events, like this, on a Sunday, going forward. This could be my last run and I want y’all to know that it was very special for me and I had an incredible time.”

Reigns currently holds the WWE Universal Championship, defeating Brock Lesnar in the WWE vs Universal Title Winner Takes All unification bout at WrestleMania 38. Plans for the Tribal Chief’s next three challengers have now been revealed.

The Usos defeated RK-Bro in their Winner Takes All Raw & SmackDown Tag Team Championship unification bout on Friday’s edition of SmackDown. The finish to this bout was reportedly a last minute decision.
