Roman Reigns And Paul Heyman Acknowledged On ESPN WWE

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his “wise man” Paul Heyman have been acknowledged on ESPN.

ESPN’s own and “First Take” co-host Stephen A. Smith had the privilege of interviewing Triple H for his announcement of his retirement.

Now, WWE has been acknowledged for a different reason on one of the flagship shows.

On the September 12 edition of First Take, co-host Dan Orlovsky unbuttoned his jacket to reveal a sweater bearing the “Acknowledge Your Daddy” slogan popularized by Roman Reigns.

Upon the reveal, Orlovsky said:

“That’s my mood this year when I come on ‘First Take.'”

Stephen A. responded with a smile, saying:

“When I saw that shirt, the first thought that came to my mind is, you’re begging your kids to acknowledge you because they know how cheap you are. You understand? To their mama as well as them.”

After Orlovsky shared the segment on Twitter, Roman Reigns replied with:

Gotta believe it to achieve it.

Meanwhile, Paul Heyman responded with:

“As #SpecialCounsel to Roman Reigns, I must point out that Dan Orlovsky proves himself (ONCE AGAIN) to be far smarter than Stephen A. Smith, for it is Dan who chooses to ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR TRIBAL CHIEF!”

Roman Reigns last defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash At The Castle on September 3.

Paul Heyman hasn’t been seen on television since taking the F-5 from Brock Lesnar through the commentary table at SummerSlam in August.
