A new report has revealed that Roman Reigns has helped boost WWE house show ticket sales.
As previously reported, WWE announced this week that Roman Reigns will team with Solo Sikoa to face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at their upcoming Toronto house show on March 4.
This is a rare house show appearance for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and marks the reunion of Zayn and Owens.
In the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Dave Meltzer reports that after announcing Reigns for the event, WWE has sold 600 tickets for the event.
It was noted that this is not on the level of John Cena, who recently moved 2000 tickets after being announced for his return on the March 6 edition of WWE Raw in Boston.
However, this is solid late movement for the Toronto house show and shows the star power of “The Tribal Chief.”
Roman Reigns is currently scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles this April.
