Roman Reigns has now made his first comments after beating Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship over Rhodes after Solo Sikoa interfered, nailed Rhodes with a Samoan Spike, and Reigns followed up directly after with a spear.
The finish caused a lot of controversy on social media, but Reigns himself took to Twitter and wrote:
We’re just getting started. #AcknowledgeMe #WrestleMania #TribalChief
Accompanying that caption was a short video of him looking into the camera and simply saying “acknowledge me”.
WWE head of creative Paul Levesque (Triple H) responded to criticism of the decision to have Reigns beat Rhodes, which you can read about at this link.
A lot of fans said they believed Vince McMahon was behind the decision – a WWE rep has responded to that claim, and you can find out about that at this link.
